2007

I don't know about you, but I really have to make my own reflection upon year 2007. Dear 2007 has been a year which I failed to remember my resolution, which I silently made a solemn resolution on the 1st day of 2007; let alone fulfill it.

So, bid bye-bye to 2007 before I head off to 1 Utama for the final countdown.

I'll see what I can improve in 2008 though. Perhaps, update my blog more often?! Nonetheless, Happy New Year! to everyone.

Just for laughs.

Once upon a time, a perfect man and a perfect woman met. After a perfect courtship, they hada perfect wedding. Their life together was, of course perfect.

***

One snowy, stormy Christmas eve, this perfect couple was driving their perfect car along a winding road, when they noticed someone at the side of the road in distress.

***

Being the perfect couple, they stopped to help.

***

There stood Santa Claus with a huge bundle of toys. Not wanting to dissapoint any children on the eve of Christmas, the perfect couple loaded Santa and his toys into their vehicle.

***

Soon they were driving along delivering the toys. Unfortunately, the driving conditions deteriorated and the perfect couple, and Santa Claus had an accident.

***

Only one of them survived the accident. Question: Who was the survivor?

***

The perfect woman survived. She's the one who really existed in the first place. Everyone knows there is no Santa Claus and there is no such thing as a perfect man!

***

Note: For men only

So, if there is no perfect man and no Santa Claus, the woman must have been driving. This explains why there was a car accident.

***

Note: For men only

By the way, if you're a woman, and you're still reading, this illustrates another point: Women Never Listen!

Inflation is a definite happening. I am really cheesed off by the prices these kopitiams increase even though the rise in flour has absolutely no deal with them. A bowl of beehoon soup used to cost RM4. During the last holiday, they increased the price by 50 cents, then RM5. Within a couple of months, i ordered beehoon soup with some extra meatball, it costs me RM6!!! What the f*ck!!!

And so I questioned the fat auntie "Why increase price again oh?" "Aiya...flour increase price d mah." "Aiya, Miss ah, everyone also increase price already lor."

So..every kopitiam increases their prices regardless of whether they use flour. The best part is these hawkers increase their prices per bowl, conclusively, they make higher profit margins than before the price increase. Truly daylight robbery.

Everything has gone up, people. I think its more worthwhile to DIY based on Nigella's fattening recipes.

Facebook craze [again].

I came back with something new to show to mummy this time. It was Friendster a few years back. Now, my mummy got to see the wonders of Facebook. She even fed my Joey [big-headed turtle] too.

But, despite the interesting applications that you can play on Facebook and the old friends that you can reconnect with and the unlimited storage of pictures you can display or Facebook was founded by the Harvards,[so what?] I have to admit to my friends that our bonding is starting to take up too much of my time. [not mentioning I got scolded by mummy for wasting too much time] I feel obliged to throw a sheep back at my friends or paste something on their superwall just to make sure i don't get anyone neglected. I just have to do it to make them think I'm not ignoring them.

and Its just weird that sometimes I am closer to some friends on Facebook than during the hangouts which we do not converse much. Come to think of it, these sites like Friendster, Myspace, Facebook are not merely just to connect and reconnect with your friends, but it is more of a platform for self-branding. Showing your best posed or retouched photos for example.

So, I am not going to care about your monkey and poke me no more. [just kidding]
