Turn your lights off!

As my mouth was busy fumbling with that piece of chicken last night, the lights went off.
Great! How are we going to finish our dinner in the dark? We then finished our candlelight dinner in five minutes. It was kinda funny and frustrating at the same time when we still had to wash the dishes, do the laundry, bathe, whilst my brother had to do his last-minute revision for tomorrow's exam when he could barely see the words in his textbook. Thats how we took things for granted.

Daddy could not stand the mosquitoes and so, the whole family went out to check which area is lucky this time to not have the blackout. To our dismay, the whole of KK city was in pitch darkness except for the hotels, which they depended on their generators. According to the newspapers, the whole of Sabah got the blackout at the same time. This scenario is not the first time though, and it happens frequently, like every month.

So, I personally think Sabah Electricity Board should be praised for their excellencies in adopting the Earth Hour actively. Excuse me for my sarcasm please.
